About The Den

Charm Meets Modern Hospitality

Nestled in a classic 1920s greystone building, 3222 N. Sheffield Ave., Chicago, Illinois, has long embodied the spirit of old Chicago. Originally home to the Old Chicago Inn, it captured the charm of the Prohibition era with vintage décor, and even a hidden speakeasy known as Room 13. Today, reimagined as The Den, we carry forward that legacy, offering an inviting space that blends historic character with modern comfort. This is more than a building, it’s a living tribute to Chicago’s storied past.
